Ella Bella Ballerina Party

A classic ballerina party with a twist!

The inspiration for this party came from the Ella Bella Ballerina book series. When the client brought these books to us, we honestly had never even read them ourselves. We purchased the books, read through them with our own children and fell in love with them instantly. Author James Mayhew does a fantastic job at capturing your children's (and your own!) interest in these magical tales! If you haven't read them, Ella Bella is a ballet student. After class she plays her teacher's music box and is magically transformed into the popular dance the class is learning. There are currently 4 books in the series; Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker and Swan Lake. They are truly a joy to read!

Our client had a vision of using the entire book series in her party theme. She wanted the party to have an overall ballerina feel, but with touches of each book individually. Using props and themed desserts, a hand painted, hand crafted cake (that is truly one of a kind), and some lovely princesses this book themed party came to life in a magical way!

Whatever your theme is, let Royal Flair Events help you create a magical party for your little one's next birthday party! We love to celebrate!

Memorial Day Displays

Memorial Day is a wonderful way for us all to remember the men and woman who have sacrificed their lives for our country as well as celebrate the freedom that we have because of their sacrifice. Whether you are celebrating at home or away, inside or outside, small or grand, creating a patriotic display is always a fun way of expressing your gratitude! And if you are a parent, a great way of teaching your kids how to show appreciation for others!

If you are driving by Royal Flair Events you will see we have brought a little patriotic nostalgia to our window display and shown what makes us think of the USA! You can view our most recent window displays on our Instagram page.

Today we wanted to share with you some of our most favorite red, white, and blue party displays and details! Let these great ideas spark your creative side!

We are in love with this patriotic set up created by Lia Griffith and featured on Hostess with the Mostess. Even better than just getting visual inspiration for your event, Lia gives us tutorials for some amazing DIY projects and party printables so you can make your own vintage Americana celebration!

Not only do we adore these painted bushel baskets that make fabulous table display pieces, we also seriously love popcorn!! Who doesn't, right? Kimberly over at A Night Owl is a woman after our own heart as she creates her masterpieces after dark! Take a look at how she creates these patriotic baskets!

Mason canning jars are becoming oh so popular to use in decorating. An added bonus is they are inexpensive and if you live in the South you probably have them lying around waiting to be fancied up! We can't get enough of these jars painted to look like mercury glass! The process is easy and the outcome is stunning! Landee at Landeeluu gives us her secrets to creating this amazing look!

However you choose to celebrate and decorate, we hope that you have an amazing Memorial Day weekend with your family and friends!

Milk and Cookie Display

We love to get our hands on designs that inspire us to create beautiful things. While the theme of milk and cookies may seem more child-like, we decided to create a vintage romantic display reminiscent of a Southern tea party. How perfect would this be for a wedding or a baby shower?

All the details... mint green and pink is very popular color combination now especially in the South. These colors mixed with the lace and burlap help create the vintage look we were trying to achieve. Labels with lace, tied jute and, pink satin ribbon, in addition to the wood and iron bistro set all bring the look together.

Don't be afraid to think outside of the box when you come up with a theme for your event. Using fun colors or unusual patterns can create the most amazing displays!
